Accessibility
All our buses have storage space for foldable wheelchairs, walkers, and all types of non-electric mobility aids. Our drivers routinely assist guests who have mobility issues onto the bus.

PASSENGER SAFETY
We operate in accordance with the Alberta Traffic Safety Act, Transport Canada’s Motor Vehicle Transportation Act (1987), and National Safety Code (NSC) Standards. All buses are approved for service through the Commercial Vehicle Inspection Program (CVIP) and maintain all necessary operating permits. All vehicles undergo routine maintenance and inspections at scheduled intervals, and as required. All our buses are outfitted with GPS tracking and 2-way cameras for live location updates.
DRIVER SAFETY
Every driver we employ has a clean driving abstract (reviewed by us annually) and is appropriately licensed to drive a passenger bus. In addition to maintaining the appropriate passenger bus license, all drivers are trained and tested internally during our hiring process and again throughout the year by our own team and by contracted external instructors and auditors.
BREAKDOWN MANAGEMENT
While we ensure all our buses are maintained at scheduled intervals, we understand that breakdowns and flat tires can happen. In the event of a breakdown, a replacement shuttle can be available in <60 minutes (and often much faster). We maintain a fleet of 12 24-pax buses at our yards in Lake Louise and Banff, so we always have an extra bus that we can call upon in the event of a breakdown.
We also utilize an automated check-in service for our drivers at multiple points throughout the day, so that a replacement driver and supervisor is notified immediately in the event of an incident, or if a bus is running late and a replacement bus is required.

OUR DRIVERS
In 2024, we hired less than 5% of applicants for our driving positions (making us nearly as discerning as Harvard). Being a member of the Alberta Living Wage Network means we receive a disproportionally large amount of experienced applicants for our driving positions, which allows us to hire only the best. Many of our staff are bilingual, university-educated, and have multiple years experience in the tourism & transportation sectors.
At a bare minimum, conversation, safe driving, and communication skills are assessed during multiple rounds of phone, video and in-person interviews, and we only hire applicants who have a 100% clean safety record.
